A detailed watercolor illustration of a community art show booth. It features a display wall of framed landscape and floral paintings, two browser bins full of matted prints, and two stacks of twine-bound seasonal greeting cards. The scene includes autumn decorations like pumpkins and fallen leaves, a hanging banner that reads "MY FIRST ART SHOW & SALE," and text blocks with event details: "DELMAR REFORMED CHURCH, NOV 7th, 10am-3pm" and "BETHLEHEM ARTISTS' ASSOCIATION 60th ANNIVERSARY."

My First Art Show & Sale: 6 Years of Landscape Paintings in Delmar

The countdown is officially on! On Saturday, November 7th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, I will be setting up my booth at the Delmar Reformed Church on Delaware Avenue for the Bethlehem Art Association’s 60th Anniversary Art Show and Sale.

If you have been following my art journey, you know this is a huge milestone for me. It is my very first official art show and sale! I have spent weeks planning, organizing, framing, and packing, and I cannot wait to share what I’ve been working on.

Six Years of Landscapes in One Space

When I first sat down to plan my booth, my main goal was to showcase the full journey of my work. Over the past six years, I have spent countless hours with a brush in hand, capturing the changing light, rolling hills, quiet forests, and open fields around us.

Because my style and perspective have evolved over time, I wanted this show to feel like a visual walk through the seasons and years. Choosing which pieces to display wasn’t easy! I selected a wide variety of landscape paintings spanning from my early studies six years ago to my most recent studio pieces. Looking at them all side-by-side feels a bit like reading through a personal journal, except painted in full color.

Options for Every Space and Budget

I wanted to make sure there is something for everyone who stops by my booth, whether you are looking for a large statement piece for your living room or a small gift for a friend.

  • Framed Original Paintings: These are fully finished, custom-framed, and ready to hang straight onto your wall.
  • Unframed Originals: If you prefer to choose your own frame to match your home decor, I will have a browser bin packed with original unframed pieces.
  • Seasonal Greeting Cards: One of the most exciting projects I tackled for this show was converting several of my favorite landscape paintings into high-quality seasonal greeting cards! They come in single cards and holiday sets, making them perfect for sending warm notes to loved ones this season or even framing as mini prints.

A Community Celebration

Being a part of the Bethlehem Art Association during its landmark 60th anniversary is such an honor. Local art groups like this keep our creative community thriving, and this upcoming show promises to be filled with incredible local talent.

Putting yourself out there for your first show can feel a little nerve-wracking, but mostly I am just excited to catch up with familiar faces and talk about art. If you are in the area on November 7th, please drop by the Delmar Reformed Church! Whether you come to shop for the holidays, browse the display, or just say hello, I would absolutely love to see you there.
